The Kootz? Welcome! It’s the “Rock ‘n Roll with Fiber” world of this group of North-NJ guys; ‘musical friends’ with a collective-passion for classic rock, pop, soul & blues and just ‘plain-old great music’! And this time Rhonda will be joining in.
In early ’01, North Caldwell, NJ’s Glenn Taylor and a group of his Essex & Union County friends/musicians, decided that they, along with several other area players had enough ‘chemistry’ to assemble a well-seasoned & eclectic pop-rock and blues ‘collective’. They’d been performing in different-incarnations occasionally since ’93, with consistently positive reactions… so… they decided to ‘Kootzify’!
The group is unique, as the ‘band-format’ goes; Rather than maintaining one-‘set’-lineup of members, The Kootz have grown into a ‘collective’ of a-baker’s-dozen ‘regular’ plus 7 ‘guest-Kootz, who play-together in a wonderful and varied ‘assortment’ of ‘Kootz-Kombinations’!
