Join us at The Old Stone on FRIDAY, MAY 6th. Red Apple Rest will be performing from 8-10 pm (doors open at 7:30). $10 cover charge, which includes entrance, coffee (regular and decaf), tea, a cold beverage and home-baked goodies. And, as always, BYOBOW is allowed.
Red Apple Rest is an Allendale & Ramsey, New Jersey based band named after the famous traveler’s eatery on Route 17 in Tuxedo, NY which was the half-way point between New York City and the resorts of the Catskills.
Red Apple Rest’s set list is centered around a core of 70’s and 80’s folk-rock tunes (think Eagles, Beatles, Everly Brothers, Elton John, and Grateful Dead) with some excursions to standout tunes of earlier decades and a few recently released songs. The hallmark of Red Apple Rest is their pleasing trio and quartet vocal harmonies and thoughtful instrument musicianship which makes them favorites at the venues like the Allendale Bar & Grill and the Torne Valley Vineyards. The band consists of Bob Copeland (acoustic guitar and cajon), John Kiely (acoustic and electric guitar), Brian Dillon (lead guitar) and Ted Clark (stand-up bass and bass guitar).
